Meet Eva! The winner of the SUBMIT YOUR IMAGE facebook contest. What an amazing (and super busy) young woman. We finally were able to make date and put together some images for her portfolio.
Eva had her hair and makeup done by the super talented Holly from Holly Krasey Makeup and Design, an new artist who donated her time to this contest. Please take a minute to go over and like her facebook page. After her makeup and hair Eva met with me in Fort Langley where we had some beautiful end of day lighting and a variety of locations to take her photos.
I asked Eva to give us a little bio on herself. The talent, grace, and beauty of this young woman is so inspiring.

My upcoming engagements include Harry in Vancouver Opera’s production of Albert Herring and its my second season with Vancouver’s award-winning ensemble “Musica Intima”. I have also been asked to represent the Fraser Valley for voice at provincials twice and have been awarded provincial silver medals for all of the Royal Conservatory exams I have taken. During my high school years at Langley Fine Arts, I was a part of the Senior and Chamber Choir. I currently am a member of the UBC Opera ensemble. My roles within the company include Head Elf in “Cendrillon”, Harry in “Albert Herring”, water sprite and white doe in”Rusalka,” Lolo in “The Merry Widow” and Dew Fairy in “Hansel and Gretel.” I have worked as a choreographer for many years, facilitating childrens camps at Spiral Dance Co.,staging for Stage Coach Company( Oxford, England) as well as choreographing for Spectral Theater Society and UBC Opera productions. I am currently a member of Health Arts as an ArtsWay Ambassador, performing for adult day care centers and intensive care facilities. I also recently became a member of the energetic, 1940’s revival group “The Lady Larks.
I plan on performing as much as possible after finishing my degree and see where opportunity takes me. I also would like to spend as much time with my family and help them in their quest for environmental awareness and self-sustainability.”
Can you say WOW? I encourage you to see Eva on stage. I know I will be.
Here are some images from her session. When having a session with Carol Kerfoot Photography you are encouraged to bring along a few different looks. It gives you the ability to see yourself in different ways and have headshots to sell yourself for differerent roles or reasons.
Thank you Eva I really enjoyed my afternoon with you and look forward to watching your career soar.
